There is no legislation. However in cases of homeless children, the Social Welfare Services will take all the necessary measures to provide the children and their families with shelter, within the framework of the protection and welfare of children.
Restaurants: There is no legislation.
Dance Halls/Discos: From 16
Night Clubs and Bars: From 17+
Harmfull places: From 18+.
Places for gambling: From 18+
Selling alcoholic beverages to children under 18 years of age is prohibited. Children and young people are allowed to consume alcoholic beverages from 17 years.
There is a age delimitation: 16 years.
All movies, before projection on screen are rated by a committee, and according to the rating children/teens are allowed or not allowed to enter the film screening.
There is no legal provision for smoking in the streets. From 1/1/2010 its forbidden to smoke in public places.
No tobacco or other smoking products are allowed to be sold at children/teens under the age of 18.

Carrying weapons is generelly forbidden.

The Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse of Children (Ratification) Law of 2014.
According to the provisions of L. 91(I)/2014, the age of sexual consent is 17 years.
According to the law in Cyprus young people are allowed to work from 15 years and above with exceptions if it´s a family business.
Foreign young people may work starting from 18 years.
